Always know who's carrying the work

Briefs now have an assignable owner. Hamster also turns a chat ask you keep repeating into a prefilled routine, ready to save.

Brief owners

A brief that belongs to everyone gets done by no one. You can now assign an owner to any brief, and pass it on as the work moves. The new owner is notified the brief is theirs to carry.

Routine suggestions from chat

Every Friday you ask Hamster to summarize what shipped and post it to Slack. Now it spots the repeat and offers to save it as a routine, prefilled from your conversation.

Improvements

  • Paste a link to a tool you have not connected, like Linear, and Hamster offers to connect it for better context
  • Stop a response mid-stream and edit your prompt before sending again
  • Briefs and initiatives you mention in chat now show their live status, so you know where they stand without leaving the thread
  • Update the status or owner of many briefs, initiatives, or goals at once, instead of one at a time
  • Filter any list by owner to see what is on a teammate's plate
  • See and edit all of an initiative's properties from one row, its status, owner, dates, and linked goal in one place
  • Assign a brief's owner without leaving the initiative it lives under
  • Upload Excel spreadsheets as context
  • Disable or archive a GitHub repo and Hamster stops drawing answers from it
  • Briefs created from Slack keep the images from the message and thread
  • Set or clear a brief's linked initiative right from Slack

Bug Fixes

  • Setting up and reconnecting your tools no longer stalls partway or fails on a retry
  • Two-way sync keeps your formatting and stops creating duplicate Confluence pages
  • The Skills library page no longer crashes on load
  • Editing a document holds together again, your changes apply, render cleanly, and you can accept or reject each one
  • Chatting no longer spawns duplicate briefs or blueprints, or a false "changes need review" prompt
  • Blueprints that would not delete now delete, and a failed blueprint page no longer reloads in a loop
  • Hamster finishes its answers instead of giving up, going blank, or repeating itself
  • Files you upload in chat stay put, and task updates from chat go through
  • Media no longer flickers while a response streams
  • New accounts open to the welcome prompts instead of a blank chat
  • The team invite button appears without a refresh
